The Latin American Works in Progress at the European Film Market (EFM, Berlinale, Feb. 5 to 15, 2009) is a series of two screenings aimed at industry professionals registered to the EFM, interested in Latin American films.

In these two days, six hand-picked new films from the region, all of them in final stages of production, are shown. Directors and producers of these films are personally pitching their work with presenting previews, trailers, or selected scenes to an audience composed of buyers, producers, distributors, agents, festival programmers, and other business players of the film industry and community.

These two sessions offer a unique plat-form for getting involved with the best of Latin American talent during the EFM.

This initiative is organized by Haciendo Cine Magazine in cooperation with the EFM, with the support of the INCAA.
