Those interested must send by post, along with
the submission form, the following materials (in Spanish):
Director Statement
Synopsis (1 to 2 pages)
Director’s Bio/Filmography
Producer’s Bio/Filmography
Production company/ies profile
Rough cut or last version of the film on one DVD
Other materials (no obligatory) are accepted. For example:
Director’s previous work in one DVD
Recommendation letters
Press releases and articles
Pictures
Etc
A complete
copy of the submission form must be sent in advance (before sending
materials by post) to: pablou@haciendocine.com.ar
If the film is selected:
The audiovisual material to be shown in the screenings must be sent
in a DVD with English subtitles.
All requested written materials might be requested again in English.
Specific Conditions:
•
There is no entry fee for applications.
• None of the submitted materials can be returned to the sender.
• Once a project has been selected, one representative (preferably
the producer) should be present in both Works in Progress sessions at
the EFM.
• The EFM will grant free multiple day passes to the representatives
of each project (until two per project).
• The participation in Works-in-Progress does not include support
for travel expenses or free accommodation for the film representatives.
• All selected projects must include the Latin American Works
in Progress logo and EFM logo in the credits of the film once finalized
and (when possible) in posters and other promotional materials.
• The logos will be sent upon request.
• In the envelope please write the following: “For festival
preview purposes only. No commercial value”
• Deadline: December 15, 2008
